BA1a Timepiece - Headgear ideas

After getting the main idea around what my timepiece would be, I started looking at how it would work. I decided to look at some 3D related ideas, where the timepiece would look 3D rather than 2D in front of you. I got inspiration from the idea of the Nintendo 3DS and the way its 3D mechanics work, where there are basically two images projected onto your eyes.

This is what I drew above, trying to experiment with how that would work and what it would mean aesthetically. Something would potentially have to come out of the timepiece to create reflections into your eyes. I think this idea may be too complicated to carry out.
